Introduction
“At the surface of
biotechnology” is a symposium dedicated to understanding biomolecule
interactions at interfaces. This international event, comprises invited oral presentations from leading
academic researchers as well as selected
presentations and exhibits from industry providing research tools for biomolecular investigations. The symposium is
expected to attract ca 100 participants, and is open to scientists and industry
with an interest in biomolecule interactions,
single molecule detection and nerve cell growth and communication. The current
state of the art spectroscopy and
microscopy techniques will be presented and the event will provide a projection
of the future research directions and
applications in biotechnology.
